Meditation is method of taking you down from your surface thoughts and feelings to a deeper level of inner awareness, where peace and stillness is the natural state.
1% of our consciousness involves thoughts and feelings. The other 99% is silence. We focus on thoughts and feelings and not the silence.
There is no attempt to stop thoughts, just to start to become aware of them coming and going. Then we can start to focus on the silence.

Paying attention to your breathing as you breath in and out of your nostrils.
Focusing silently on a mantra,

When you find your thoughts drifting back a, just refocus on the 'breath', 'mantra', 'flame' and you will start to experience silence behind the thoughts and feelings. That's the beginning of the magic . We start to distinguish between thoughts, breath and silence. This now allows for the possibility of silence as well as thoughts to be present.
We design our meditation programs to be as practical as possible focusing on what is actually happening in your daily life.
